The 29th Annual Auction Against AIDS

Benefiting The Philadelphia Center

The Philadelphia Center Presents: LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.  The 29th Annual Auction Against AIDS will be held on Saturday, August 11th at Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino from 6 pm to 10 pm. Come enjoy a night of intrigue with superheroes and villains along with local art, silent auction items, and contests that you will not want to miss. This year’s event includes performances by our local drag artists who will bring to life Aunty Entity, Wonder Woman, Cat Woman, Black Widow, and Poison Ivy.

Board vice president Lonnie McCray is the Auction Chair, working with Jacquelyn Barber as Artistic Director to bring LEGENDS OF TOMORROW to life. Attendees can expect a surreal, visual experience with contests throughout the night. That Girl DJ will be at the bat cave once again, providing all the sounds.

During the silent auction, attendees can discover the talent of local artists and products and services of small businesses in our own community. Various raffles and contests ensure that everyone has a chance at some truly amazing prizes. Clarke’s Jeweler’s returns with Kryptonite, jewelry so spectacular it makes Superman weak. And, of course, we will have Central Station’s “Joker’s Barrel,” which is our popular barrel of wine, liquor, and beer raffle.

Tickets are $50 and are available online or at the door.

ShaZam! Tickets are $25 until July 31st, so don’t take your time!
