Founded in 1990, The Philadelphia Center is NWLA's HIV/AIDS resource center. We offer supportive services for people living with HIV, as well as STI testing, and a PrEP/GBT Health Center.

Client Services links people living with HIV/AIDS to supportive services such as case management, transportation, food vouchers, housing/utility assistance, support groups, and substance and mental health counseling. 

Mercy Center is a 24-hour supportive housing program for previously homeless people living with HIV/AIDS. Provides a permanent, safe, and nurturing housing which PLWHA can live as productive and active lives as possible. 

No cost, confidential HIV, hepatitis C, and syphilis testing to anyone in the community. Results are available in 20 minutes. 

Testing Monday-Thursday from 10am to 4:00pm. No appointment needed. NO TESTING ON FRIDAY!

GBT Health Center provides the full panel of STI testing and treatment. Services are for gay and bisexual men and transgender individuals.

Taken daily, PrEP reduces the risk of HIV transmission from sex by about 99% and 74% for people who inject drugs.

Comprehensive harm reduction services that provides access to sterile syringes and other injection equipment, safe disposal of syringes, HIV and Hepatitis C testing and linkage to care.
